The Paterson Process

Hi, my name is Mark Danielson. 

I’m a serial entrepreneur and have been certified as a Paterson StratOp facilitator since 2005.  Later I added LifePlan certification so I could offer clients a similar process for their personal lives.   

Along with my wife Annie, I’ve launched, led, and sold 9 businesses across multiple industries including manufacturing, gift/home, retail, design, hospitality, and real estate.

Our journey has been recognized by a host of awards including CoBiz MagazineCEO of the Year and the American Business AwardsBest Social Responsibility Program <100 Employees. Enough. It’s embarrassing. 

After selling our most recent business, I’ve shifted my focus for the next season of life to helping organizations and individuals reach their full potential through the Paterson Process.

Annie and I are the proud, sometime meddling parents of three (now four!) creative, entrepreneurial children.

Favorite hangs: Kitchen.  Woodshop.  Ski slope.  Dinner table.   

The Paterson StratOp and LifePlan Processes are the creation of Tom Paterson, a strategic visionary who for decades helped Disney, RCA, IBM and others innovate, then turn their insights into tactical plans. He was commissioned by Ronald Reagan to create a plan to help open up the Chinese economy.  It's no wonder Peter Drucker called Tom, “the greatest strategic thinker in the world”. 

For the past 20 years, licensed facilitators of Tom's process have helped countless businesses, nonprofits and individuals gain clarity about who they are, where they should be headed, and how to achieve their goals.
